Abati clashes with APGA chairman Victor Oye over refusal to indemnify Arise TV

Arise TV anchor Reuben Abati on Wednesday clashed with the national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Victor Oye during the channel’s The Morning Show.

Abati asked Oye to indemnify Arise TV and take full responsibility for calling party opposition Edozie Njoku a “fraudster” and “liar”. But Oye refused, told the former presidential aide to “keep quiet”, adding that he too is a journalist.

The incident saw the two men engage in a little argument before Abati took a break.
